A temporary structure (pictured) has been set up at Shelter 4 in Tanglewood Park to handle golf operations during construction of a new clubhouse on the site of the original clubhouse scheduled for demolition in the next few weeks. May 13 is the final day in the existing facility, according to Tanglewood staff.
As Triad Golf Magazine has reported, the new $15-million clubhouse project, expected to be completed in late 2025, will result in a smaller and more efficient facility, The practice range and putting green next to the current clubhouse site will remain open during construction. The temporary clubhouse is across the street from the first leg of the ninth fairway, not far from the railroad engine display.
