Walker Isley of Oak Island shot 25-under-par 259 to successfully defend his CGA North Carolina Amateur title, June 6-9, at Croasdaile Country Club in Durham.
Sean Finan and Davis Womble, both of Winston-Salem, tied for fourth at 276. Womble, a former Wake Forest player, won the CGA Mid-Amateur earlier this year. Finan recently competed his sophomore season at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
After opening with 70, Isley shot rounds of 63, 64 and 62. Isley, was invited to the NCAA regionals as an individual last month during his senior season at UNC Wilmington.
