Jake Lewis of Cary beat CJ Peterson 1-up Saturday to win the 20th Dogwood State Junior Boys’ Championship at Cedar Rock Country Club in Lenoir.
Peterson beat Sam Terry of Thomasville 3 and 2 in the semifinals. Terry, who is homeschooled, is expected to graduate in 2026.
