Justin Taylor (pictured) shot rounds of 71 and 75 to win the 37th annual Dugan Aycock Davidson County Amateur Championship over the weekend at Lexington Golf Club. Taylor’s 4-over-par total beat Michael Swaringen by one stroke. Brian Hayes finished third, three strokes behind.
Buck Hall shot 140, including 67 in the opening round, to win the Senior Division by six shots over Herb Lohr and Randy Kaiser. The tournament attracted 59 players.
