Tournament of Champions April 9-10, 2011
Ryan Sullivan began the back nine with three straight birdies and held off Scott Trent to win the 15th annual Triad Golf Today Tournament of Champions at The Challenge Golf Club in Graham.
Sullivan shot a 1-under-par 71 Sunday after opening with a 74 Saturday. Trent shot 73 each day and finished one shot off the pace.
Former champ Tony Byerly posted the day’s best score, a 2-under-par 70, and finished third at 149.

Interclub Challenge
Cole Claassen shot 70-76 to lead Cross Creek to the championship of the Triad Golf Today Interclub Challenge, which was played in conjunction with the Tournament of Champions.
Claassen teamed with James Williams, James Goin and Glen Tate as Cross Creek finished seven shots ahead of Southwick. The best three of four scores on each nine were added to figure the team score.
