There’s a new facility in Winston-Salem for golf equipment, club repair, club fitting and instruction.
Supreme Golf Supply, located inside the Country Club Golf Center clubhouse on Country Club Drive, opened August 1.
Chris Merritt, a PGA Professional since 2006, moved back to his home city to open the business. He had previously worked at Martin’s SuperStore in Myrtle Beach and at several courses in the Myrtle Beach area. He also worked at Long Creek Golf Club in Bethania.
They have almost all the major brands of equipment and have a launch monitor on site.
“We do fittings outside on the range instead of inside,” Merritt said. “There’s an advantage of actually being able to see the ball flight.”
Martin and his partner Ricky Lyons are open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
