Ole Miss golfer wins North-South Women’s Amateur

Mary Miller of Savannah, Georgia, won the North and South Women’s Amateur in 19 holes Saturday at Pinehurst No. 2.

Miller, who plays at Ole Miss, defeated Emilia Doran in the final. The 2022 North and South champion as Emilia Migliaccio, then a standout at Wake Forest, the 27-year-old Doran now works as an on-course television golf reporter.

Mebane’s Emily Mathews, who plays at Virginia Tech, and High Point University’s Makayla Grubb advanced to the quarterfinals.
